Vector Image Files

Vector images store graphics in high resolution using mathematical formulas to create images with vectors, unlike raster images that use a pixel grid. Vector graphics are defined by 2D points connected by various shapes: zero-dimensional points for single references, one-dimensional lines (or polylines) for linear features, and two-dimensional polygons for specific areas.

Vectors are ideal for creating images that can be resized or manipulated without quality loss. They scale up to larger dimensions seamlessly, maintaining high quality and offering superior editing options compared to raster images.
